اثرات ناشی از ریسک تغییر اقلیم بر صنعت بیمه

چکیده

یکی از مهم‌ترین اثرات تغییر اقلیم، تغییر شدت‌ و تواتر حوادث طبیعی از قبیل خشک‌سالی، سیل، طوفان و ... است که با توجه به ایجاد ریسک و عدم قطعیت، در ﺻﻨﻌﺖ ﺑﯿﻤﻪ، از اﻫﻤﯿﺖ فراوانی برخوردارند. به همین منظور، شناسایی ابعاد مختلف ریسک حاصل از تغییر اقلیم و ارزیابی آن می‌تواند با تمرکز و برنامه‌ریزی برای مواجهه با اثرات مستقیم و غیرمستقیم تغییر اقلیم، از ضرر و زیان‌های آتی مربوط بکاهد. لذا، انجام پژوهش‌های مرتبط با تغییر اقلیم برای آمادگی هر چه بیشتر جهت سازگاری با این پدیده و نیز کاهش بار هزینه‌های خسارات ناشی از این تغییرات برای صنعت بیمه، بسیار ضروری می‌باشد. در این راستا، در این مقاله، ضمن تبیین اثرات تغییر اقلیم بر شدت و تواتر حوادث آب‌وهوایی، کانال‌های تاثیرگذاری تغییر اقلیم بر بیمه‌های درمان، زندگی و غیرزندگی ارائه می‌گردد که اهم این موارد عبارتند از: تغییرات وضعیت سلامتی و افزایش هزینه‌های بیمه‌گران درمان، سرمایه‌گذاری دارایی‌های بیمه‌های زندگی، تغییرات نرخ مرگ‌ومیر و ابتلا به بیماری، ریسک‌های اعتباری و افزایش خسارت در بیمه‌های غیرزندگی پیرو افزایش فراوانی و شدت حوادث آب‌وهوایی. همچنین، چالش‌های تغییر اقلیم برای بیمه‌‌گران بیان و در نهایت راهکارها و پیشنهاداتی برای صنعت بیمه ارائه می‌شود.

چکیده [English]

An important effect of climate change is the change in the intensity and frequency of natural disasters such as droughts, floods, hurricanes,. . . , Due to the creation of risk and uncertainty, in insurance industry, they have an abundance. To this end, identifying the various dimensions of climate change risk and assessing it can reduce future losses by focusing and planning to address the direct and indirect effects of climate change. Therefore, conducting research related to climate change is essential to be more prepared to adapt to this phenomenon and to reduce the burden of costs due to these changes for the insurance industry. In this regard, in this study, while explaining the effects of climate change on the severity and frequency of weather events, the channels affecting climate change on health, life and non-life insurance are presented. Also, the challenges of climate change for insurers are expressed and final solutions and suggestions for the insurance industry are provided.
